For some reason i could not post this in another section, so i was wondering since im replacing my Dana 30 in my xj i found another d30 from a wj online for a decent price and was just wondering if it would be compatible, the gears are different but couldnt i just swap the gears that are in my orignal d30? I looked around and couldnt find a good answer so thanks for any help

depending on the year it should work. I would measure the different components to make sure that they are the right.

There is a lot of differences. You would have to weld on new mounts for everything.

Darn, I was hoping it would of worked it was the complete axle too, oh well just keep on looking I guess
