Default D30 Axle U-Joints

Long story short.. Previous owner swapped axles, I have an old d30 88ish? (he swapped a set from an XJ with a d44 so whatever years those came in..) with a solid shaft not disconnect, any idea what u-joints I need for the front axles? are they all the same for d30's? Any obvious way for me to tell what I need if they aren't all the same?

boo and I imagine that measuring the caps we're talking about millimeter differences not significant differences right?

sounds like you're looking for 297 u-joints.

The caps should either be 1 1/16 or 1 3/16, should be easy to figure out with a tape measure.

No tone rings. It took 89 unit bearing when I did them (3 trips later to figure out it was an older axle..)

Only problem with measuring is they are on my DD. So it's just not convenient, I can always just get a couple and return what doesn't fit but thats not super ideal either.. I was just hoping for an easy answer.

Not sure what year your working with but the tj can use the upgraded 760x that's stronger appears the 97-01 use the same axle. Something to consider
