Okay , so I currently am squeezing these 32" tires mounted on a set of 15x10" rims under the jeep. The rubbing is a PITA sometimes but tolerable. I am really considering a set of the cutouts, mainly because the tires stick out kinda far. One of my questions are how much tire coverage can I expect? And then exactly how wide are the Bushwacker cutouts? I was told they provide 4" of coverage, so I figure that my rear tires will be completely tucked under them but the front tires will still stick out maybe an inch? So if anybody has a set of cutouts that is running a 10" wide rim, can you tell me if and how much of your tire is still extended out beyond the flare. I am not really interested in switching rims, I like the look of a wide rim/tire, so this is the direction (flares) I am going in. Later, Mike

are you rubbing on the fender or are you rubbing on the lower control arm? i was rubbing on the front lower fender mount so that got cut out. i cut out as if i was gonna put the BW's on like the part thats covered up by the bumper cap. yes i see uve got a '99!
i dont rub on that anymore just my lower control arms. and im flareless, but i havent cut any metal off the lip. also do u have sway bar disco's?
also BW's are kinda notorious for exploding when smacked on something....

no I haven't had the ability to have a full turning radius yet so the tires only make contact with the bumper cap and the lowest rear part of the flares. But I guess what got me nervous was the curious look I recieved the other day when I passed off the Five-O. I am not sure he appreciated the neat rooster tails the tires were throwing from the road being wet, well... at least not as much as I do, haha. I haven't purchased the swaybar disco's as of yet, but my remedy for articulation rubbing will simply be installing larger bump stops. Maybe eventually I will be able to afford the long arm conversion to regain some lost articulation. Nothing like having a christmas wish list year round, eh?
