not to mention exhaust fumes. just don't drive with all the windows closed.

there are some certain safety risks driving like that. say the rear tire blows out, it may bend the inner fender and come inside the cabin, or send shredded rubber debris inside, causing injury.
or the police may pull you over for having sharp metal edges showing where some passerby might accidentally just cut themselves on.

but in all seriousness, get if fixed up as soon as you can figure out where you want to go with it now.

ahhh I did the same thing on my drivers side.

I used the tab where the fender flare clipped onto and cut it across the same way. I didnt know what everyone meant at the time on the forum by cutting a bunch of tabs and hammering it back. ohhhhh well

So I JB welded some of it, then siliconed the crap out of it, hit it with some black paint and it looks fine.

I wheel the crap out of it and it doesn't bend, brake or anything like that. No exhaust fumes or anything like that.

Although in this picture it does look like you cut a bit much on the back part.

...that well, you might want throw some sheet metal and weld it up.

I started to do the same thing on my rear fenders.. I assumed they were just like the front, obviously I was wrong.. Luckaly I didn't cut them as far up as you did, but there are still a few spots in the pinch seam
that are open, but I havnt noticed any problems yet

I did the same thing, it's a learning experience. I just got the rivet gun out and folded the outside over the inside, riveted and siliconed the **** out of the fender well inside and out. Then I bought some universal flares from quadratec (they even look good). I spray bombed what I had done and installed the flares. Its not the greatest looking but then it just sees logging roads, not many mall parking lots.

I would just take the fender wells out completely for more up travel.
that is if your jeep is just a toy and not a daily driver

Nice work on fabricating your rear wheel...
I'm happy you've found away to get things right after your mistake...
