Cut fuel line on renix need help quuck
So I was cutting out rust and I kinda just barely cut a fuel line. Hehe oops so how do I fix it? It's right under the drivers seat. It didnt cut it in two but it made a nice hole. I need a permanent fix and quick I can't weld new metal in with a leaking fuel line.

Go ahead and cut it in 2 and you can use a brass union. Which I prefer not to do but others might. I would cut it in 2, and then reconnect it with a piece of rubber fuel hose thats rated for EFI with some hose clamps. Thats the same thing you have at the fuel filter and at the pump, rubber fuel line. Its not a very high pressure fuel system.

I ran into this issue on a buddy's car when he folded the line and pinched it beyond use. We went to auto-zone and found tucked into the corner "fuel line repair kits" It has a brass union in it and uses hot water to allow you to press the fitting into both ends and give you about 20" of new line to patch it with if needed. was 15$ IIRC.
If its plastic/rubber it will work, if its metal line they may have something different, but seamed like a common part.

x2 on the brass union but it is really called a compression fitting. find the diameter of your fuel line and run to your nearest napa and ask them for a compression fitting in that size....chances are it will run you $5 or less.

I'm in autotech at my school and my teacher said both of those but didn't know how they will stand up to the psi of the pump. What fuel pis is normal on renixs?and do y'all know the size of the line?

It will hold if installed properly. I think it said it was rated to 80psi? the fitting anyway... I would give it a shot, If not just buy a new line.
