you should be able to use any jeep dana 44 spindle parts
and hub parts

the axle should be a full size Cherokee or wagoner d44
the spline and axle length is the important part

Yes, I am the brother. I hope we can get this thing together in time. We'll see you in PA.
Turbodmax- remind me to look at the D44 I have on that old Jimmy chassis, I might be able to get the spindle nut and washers off of it. No hub parts..it's welded, so I'll have to look and see if I can get the nut off or not.

I'll get pics of the hubs up on here, should have a stock shaft in a few days called around found a few they will ship but I want the length and spline count of what they have first before I get it. She will be ready for RC I think if I can get all the parts this week.

So, did that shaft you got fit?
As far as the hub goes, you might be able to pick up a cheap set of Mile Markers at Advance Auto for under 50 clams.

I just got off of the phone with Chris and the axle shats fit correctly. Yay! Now he just needs a axle tube seal, some hub parts, and a brake line and he'll be in business.
The redneck snorkle will be an afterthought. Getting it to go and stop is a bit more inportant. I have a feeling that there will be some sort of cob jobbed snorkle on it before next Saturday.

Well she goes good, We had a great trip to the off road park. I did do a pvc snorkle and went in to the lake and it got deep quick and was about hood level when she would not go any more and died out. Now I got it home and replaced cap cleaned rotor and all relays with electric cleaner and now it will start an die and will not stay running seems to be the relays are shot or still wet from the Sat. lake run. Any ideas on how to dry it out I need to hit a mud bog this weekend!!

Yes we had fun. Chris' XJ worked great until he swamped it. Well, it's not like he wasn't intending to do it or anything.

My favorite pic from the trip

I'm not sure I'll be able to do the mud thing this weekend. I still have several mud related repairs to do and I'm flat broke. I overheated like 16 times on the way home from Rausch.I think a road trip and mud and a road trip home might not be the best idea for my DD XJ right now.
