Default custom front bumper help

im builing a front bumper and i need some help.

i want to use the original 3 holes on the front left of the jeep. those 3 bolts are used to hold the power steering assembly in place. My question is can mount the plate to the power steering or will it break if i pull on it? can i just get longer bolts to put a nut on the end?or do i have to drill completley different holes?

or if anyone has any pics of how they mounted theirs would be really nice. thanks

Use Longer Bolts for the steering Box, You can reuse the stock bumper bolts for the stock location on each side. So for me that meant 3 longer steering box bolts, 5 long bolts, 5 nuts, 5 LARGE washers, 8 small washers.

All grade 8 hardware btw.

ignore the 2 missing bolts per side. But here is mine mounted

If you have extra plate i highly recommend placing plate on the inside of the frame rail. I just used really big grade 8 washers to spread the load (and it works just fine) but plate would be the best.
