Not 100% where to go with this but I'll start here. I have a 95 cherokee 4.0 it's have no cup holders anywhere now I'm big coffee guy and it's hard to drive hold coffee and smoke lol. So if anyone had or has I design for a cup hold/arm rest preferably out of a wood

When I had my 95 the cup holder that came with it was a plastic POS! It just hung on the side of the console. It was always in the way when you have a passenger. I had a couple of them that I picked up at a junk yard and both of them ended up breaking from the passenger hitting them with there leg. If you hit a bump hard enough it would fall off. I like Mr. Briggs idea for a holder.

Someone removed your console?

If you google search "xj cupholder" and check out images there are some cool ideas.

I think Walmart has some kind of over the hump holder that would work.

With that open layout, the sky is the limit.

I could literally make dozens of different cup holder configurations.
