Cruise Control Question
I'm installing cruise control on my 98 Cherokee and I am installing the actuator under the hood. I am trying to figure out what goes into this tube shown in the picture.
I'm assuming that it's some sort of vacuum lines but if so I'm wondering where they lead to on both sides. Any pictures of your stock setup would be appreciated.

I think your vacuum line would tie into each side of that T then run across your engine to your TB.
Edit: it mounts right behind the battery to the side of the fender. That vacuum line just ties into the line running from your vacuum ball across to the back of the engine bay.

Thanks! Like I said, I'm installing it in my 98 Cherokee that didn't come with it so I don't have anything to go by. I'm assuming since the Cherokees are basically pre-wired for cruise control (even the ones that didn't come with it) that there should be some sort of vacuum line in the engine bay that this T-connector goes into. I just wanted to see if anyone had a picture of it so I know what I'm looking for.

Yes, it's vacuum lines. One end has a vacuum line that runs around the back of the engine to the edge of the passenger side. The other end goes straight out and down to the vacuum canister in the passenger side bumper.

Thanks a million! Yours is a 96 but I'm assuming it's likely the same on my 98 since it's just cruise control. That one on the passenger side... Where does it end up going? The throttle body?

What that picture shows is pretty much the end of vacuum line, the top line runs back to everything else that runs off the vacuum. That includes the hvac controls, tb, and I think the evap canister too?
There, I was close enough, should be pretty accurate. You would tie into right around where that "6" arrow points
