OEM length under head? I'd like to add these to my Bolt List (I've got a few more to add as well. It's online - link in sig, it's in my Tech Archive.)

on my 99 xj the transfer case/transmission cross member is lowered 1" from the frame with spacers in between ..is this normal on these vehicles?? it does not seem necessary but I wanna know what other people have to say about it.

well I bought it with 31's n supposedly a 4" lift.. .I was asking about the cross member because the bolts on mine are weird.. two are going up into the side rails as if it had a built in nut, n the other two r coming down the side rails with nuts on the bottom ...is this common or just Shorty work???

From the factory they have two bolts and two studs one on either side. Odd it would be that way with the TC drop since you have to remove the studs and get longer ones. Its usually jsut easier to use bolts.
