This may sound crazy, but if you're working under your car during the day, but don't have a flashlight or droplight to help illuminate what you're working on, try laying down one of those windshield sun reflector things that are silver, it will reflect light back up underneath the vehicle and might make all the difference.

It's handy to lay on too. Keeps you from getting dirty or wet. That's what I was using it for, and I noticed when I started using it it reflected light up underneath and I was able to see the bolts I was trying to take out that I couldn't see before.

 

I have just been using an old army tent. Its not reflective lol. But dose keep my dry and clean.

 

that's a good idea i never thought about using like a light reflector

 

good deal as far as both uses and works out great since i already have one lol
