Default Crankshaft sensor replaced

So my 1999 Cherokee sport stopped running about 8 months ago. Determined that the crankshaft position sensor needed to be replaced. After many attempts I finally got the old one off and new one one. Fired right up no problem, other that the alternator was seized and burned the serpentine belt. Ordered new alternator and belt, replaced both with little issue. Now it wont start at all. Just cranks. HELP!

There are two wires that attach to the alternator. They are attached. I checked for anything loose in the area but didn't see anything. I'll take another look

Using a multimeter to check it has 5V supply, earth, and the A/C function to measure output while cranking (preferably analogue for the A/C)

How did you determine it needed replacement in the first instance ?

does it have spark ? etc etc

"failed CPS" threads are quite common...the experts generally say "buy an original Mopar part, regardless of cost"
