Cranks but no start
replaced all my cooling parts. Radiator, hoses, water pump, thermostat, rad cap, and flushed it. Let the jeep run for about an hr and then moved it to the street. It stayed on for about 3 minutes and then died. Now it only cranks and doesn’t start. No spark out of the spark plugs, no spark out of the distributor cap and ignition coil. Bought a new ignition coil and still no spark. What could it be guys??
i have a 95 cherokee i replaced the head put everything back together and replaced the cps because i broke the other now it wont start but cranks i read some were that aftermarket cps are a hit or miss but mine still wont start

well I got lucky with the cps I bought from Napa then. Starts up every time

maybe try a oem one from Mopar? Are you getting spark in your spark plugs, dizzy, and coil pack?
With that aside, checking for spark is a good idea, as is checking fuses. As for the crank sensor, Mopar is at the top of the list. Or atleast it should be. Aftermarket is hit or miss. From what ive read, its the magnets.

Mine 1991 larado 4.0
No fuel pressure/new fuel pump
Drove all day ok next day died in alley
Was able to limp it/with gas/no fuel pressure
again/ changed fuel pump again/filter
AS relay new/fuel pump relay also
Swapped ecm with known good one/
3- capacitors-thing
(Ok chuckle
Pulled the even/ cracked silicone/dug out
Radio shack had the 3/ mine 2-small 1-taller
25.00-later.
Popped tall capacitor!
thus ecm from wrecking yard / motor has hole in block
Pulled pdb loose looking for shorts nothing
all looks very good
Oxygen sensor taken out/inspected tested
Ok/ only 1 oxygen sensor
Ckp looks ok
cam sensor. Also looks ok
checking grounds and for corrosion
30 amp keeps blowing
can a bad ckp do this?
Wiring in loom in harness in place secured
All looks good
1 owner jeep me 2nd
Last shop replaced ballast resistor on firewall to get running
Pulled dash/ all bulbs good/replaced several
Couple small ones missing -got
Have pulled all fuses all good
30 amp- ?
did find a dead mouse by battery tray
Cleaned out inpeccted -no signs bad
Look if at schematics
My eye sight sucks so small
Ready to pull starter
Works great but

Been spending hours reading
About this same problem
