yea well the thing is i had a 92 f150 with a nicley built 5.0 and i thought i would be smart and bought a rad out of a 97 f350 with a 460 and a 180 thermo. and in the winter i could go ride trails here in texas for HOURS get out take the rad cap off and it would barely be warm. I did not have a heater at all, it just flat ran tooo cold and i dont wat that to happen with my jeep. I finaaly got my wife into off road and we are going to colorado in feb to do black bear pass and i would like to not be cold all the time.

If it was running too cold, the t-stat was malfunctioning or the t-stat was bypassed thru the rad. That's what a properly functioning t-stat does.....control minimum coolant temp. The other cooling system components and operating conditions/factors control maximum coolant temp.

You might have weak or broken motor mounts.

no I don't i have one and still run 210-215* when warm. a 2 row is good as well if your worried about it, some say its better unless you upgrade the water pump t/stat and housing. but any quality radiator should hold up to what your doing.

So there IS a lot of flex in the front of the unibody then?
Thanks for the acknowledgment.

Racking it would certainly cause any radiator to split, but you apparently figured that out on your own.

You can try and keep scamming the vendors or you can isolate the radiator somehow so it floats in the frame.
