I've replaced 3 times now in a years time. What is causing it to keep failing? Would water be a factor? I wheel in some rough stuff. But wash it thoroughly after.

Bought two from stealership and after those both died I bought one off eBay, oddly the eBay one lasted the longest. I've heard that it could be failing due to being run so close to exhaust that it overheats and dies. Gonna try to fab some heat shield to see if it makes a diff.

Oh also noted. They only seem to fail if I let the jeep sit for a month or longer. It's a trail rig so I don't start it as often as I probably should, as I don't wheel enough anymore.
