Default couple questions

First I'd like to say howdy to everyone. Been busy and haven't been around for a couple months. So I'm getting ready to start tearing into my jeep again. Planning to start by replacing the clutch, my question is whats the difference between a standard clutch and a dual friction clutch. What would the pro's cons be between the two. There's about 100 dollar difference between the two and I'm wondering if it's worth to spend the extra cash on the dual friction. It's an 87 Cherokee with a 4.0 and the peugot 5 speed trans 231 t case installed a 3 inch kit from rough country. If i do the tj flare install will it give me the clearance for 33's on it. If i do set her on 33's is there any thing else i need to look at besides clearance?

Thanks in advance

i got no idea but im thinkin i may need a new clutch too. How much do you think it would cost you or I to have a shop do it? like parts and labor

not sure an oem style clutch is what i'm thinking of going with. there around 200 bucks. i called my buddy last night and he said the oem will last longer, and the dual friction is more for racing type situations. as for the shop doing it, i do all my own work. i dropped my trans once before and it wasn't that hard of a job you just need an extra set of hands.

3" and 33's are nice. wether they will clear or not depends on how much you are willing to trim and bumpstop. the flares are just a matter of bolting them on the fenders after trimming.

Sounds good, it doesn't really matter to me how much i have to trim as long as the end result is the clearance needed and a decent looking rig to torture the neighbors with. Does anyone know of a decent exhaust. I want something that will breath good, but not so loud i have to crank the radio. Plus i pull out at the various hours (1-4 am) of the morning, and the local cops are kinda jag offs at that time of the morning when things are to loud.
