I have a 98 XJ Classic on stock suspension and couldnt I get a add a leaf and put in with it a shackle to raise up my back. Im looking to raise it up two inches in the back.

 

if you're just looking for 2 inches then you could just get a 2 inch shackle and it will get you where you want to go.

 

X2 on the 2 inch shackle then you can get a puck for the front...Tj

 

do you want the raked look or are you towing or something that requires the back a little higher?

 

My front is higher up then my back and im wanting it up to where it was so i was thinking a 2 inch add a leaf then a shackle. Im only in highschool on a small budget.

Yeah shackles only give you half of the length in lift. It only bolts onto one end of the leaf spring so its only half the lift. At least thats how i understood it, there's a really good thread on it somewhere i'll try to dig it up.

 

my 1.5 shackle gave me almost an inch and a half.
