Could you Put a Surpa Engine in my Jeep.
i have been looking into a lexus or toyota engine swap, i have been thinking about a 1uzfe it is a lexus all aluminum v8 four cam 32 valve 4.0! i own a es300 with this engine and the power is pretty incredible for a 4.0 it is a little high revving for offroad but would be much better than messing with a supra boosted engine. just my .02 sense you might wanna look into them it is a 6 bolt main nearly square bore to stroke ratio, 90* v8 configuration so with exhaust it sounds mean!! it revs up to 7300 rpm safely i set my es300 tuned to 6500 and it has a great powerband very formidable low end torque with a top end that will scare you

seems like a bad idea. so many more motor swaps would be easier and better. a 350 chevy. a 4.3 chevy. ford 5.0 stroker jeep motor. liberty diesel motor.
If i had the funds, and time to get it right. I'd do the liberty diesel with some mods. Lighter weight than the cummins, smaller. but tons of torque. with a nice tune, about 12lbs of boost, and an open exhaust system you'd have one sick ride.

I know TB spacers are useless for these engines, not sure about TB itself though. I'm sure if you had a bored out throttle body and the stock airbox, it might not do much. But if you team it up with a nice high flow K&N filter or a cold air intake, you'd feel a difference. I'll let you know, because I'm gonna get one of them off ebay with next week's paycheck. First, I'm gonna hook it up with the stock airbox to see how it feels, then I'm gonna hook up my CAI intake to see how it feels and if it make a difference.

i forgot where i read it i actually think it was on this site where it said that the throttle bodies are useless i cant remeber why tho lol
That is an ignorant statement lol calling a surpra MKIV engine a ricer is wayyyy off a ricer would be putting a civic engine in it , the supra is a tuner and import yes but has the potential to be a very very powerful engine

You could drop a diesel in there thats turbocharged.. with one of the latest turbos that spool real quick... and you could smoke all 4 wheels down the 1/4 mile... You should watch pinks... they had one truck that littlery ate everything up ... bad to bone...
