do you think the inline 6 can handle 12 psi to get it moving?

You gotta keep in mind that the motor in JP Magazine is rebuilt with a stroker kit. That means forged internals that are meant to hold up to some abuse. I don't see stock components lasting too long running 12 PSI.

i ment twice as much as a stock i6

twin turbo supra should run 800 rwhp with ease

im sure stock wont hold up but if you get forged internals then im thinking it can hold up. i can see mentally starting up the car and everything just breaking and smoking. getting all new forged components should holdthe abuse of the turbo

You might as well put a 32v 4.6 from my cobra . with mild bolt ons i made 442rwtq and 430rwhp it makes matched or more torque due to its positive displacement blower. With a kenne bell mamouth supercharger it makes like over 700 rwhp and matched torque. With a six speed gear box.

that engine would be ideal for the jeep since it has low end torque as well as high end. before i do anything radical im going to add bolt ons to the 4.0 untill i get the cash to fund one of these major projects.

Just get a 63mm throttle body off ebay for $90 after the core charge when you send yours in http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jeep-...#ht_2055wt_958 . It's not gonna add 100 HP but you'll get better throttle response and acceleration. Then you can go with a new header because the exhaust manifolds ALWAYS crack on the Jeeps. After that, do a cat-back exhaust system and a cold air intake. That should give you a little boost in horsepower and make it more peppy. You can also always add gears... they don't add HP, but you'll feel the difference upon acceleration.
