do you think it would be hard to put a 2000 supra twin turbo engine in my jeep i think it should fit. though i might need to do some custom mounting brackets. how hard do you think it would be.

Yes, it can be done, and yes it will be hard. You would need more stuff off the Supra (ECM for one)...also, if you want gauges, then there's all that stuff that's involved with that.

why would you want to do that most people swap out the 258 for the 4.0, the 4.0 is more powerfull

It would be a large money pit. your going to need the trans for that motor as well. possible custom transfer case to have 4 wheel drive. also upgraded rearend with at least 31 spline axels, custom driveline the brakes are no way near what would be needed to stop the rig. custom radiator and so on. You would be better off with a 350 chevy in all honesty. its very easy to have a n/a 350 with a carb ,making 425 hp thats twice the horse of the i6.

not possible!
the supra was only made up until 1998
so no "2000" supra motor for you
research, it's not on the list http://www.kbb.com/kbb/UsedCars/defa...ufacturerId=49

well actually they stopped making them in 1999 in america. though in japan they stopped producing them in 2002 so you can get a 2000 if you look hard enough
