Default Could this cause my death wobble?

I apologize for the quality of the picture, it was the best I could get with my phone. Anyway, I get the death wobble when I hit a bump at high speeds. It happens more often when I hit something with only one of my tires or a diagonal bump, ones that hit both tires at the same time usually don't cause the wobble. So I look under the Jeep and see this bar that doesn't look like its in very good shape. I think it's the drag link bar? Anyway I just want to know if replacing this would fix my death wobble because it's pretty annoying and it freaks passengers out lol.

I would start with your track bar. The axle side mount tends to oval out and cause a lot of DW issues. If that looks to be ok then I'd check the tie rod end of the track bar.

I'm assuming from the pic that it's not lifted at all?

There are a lot of things that could cause DW but the track bar is one of the easiest to diagnose. Start with that and if that looks fine we can go from there.

That pic is not an XJ, but the part names and locations are the same.

Crawl under the front end and have someone turn the wheel back and forth to check for loose joints. My TJ had the same problem, went away after replacing the track bar and TRE's.

That kind of stuff is what separates cF from most other forums.....
