have 96 sport and the electric cooling fan dont work i pull the relay and set it back in and it starts to run but soon as i push all the way in the fan stops. any ideals the relay clicks away till i push it in and i have tried a new one and same result. any help please

 

A/C on or coolant temp at least 218F?

 

If the A/C isn't on or the coolant has not reached 220* at the thermostat housing, the fan will not come on.

coolant pegged and then came down to230 or so ac is off

The electric fan comes on with the A/C AND when the temp sensor in the thermostat housing reads the coolant to be 220*.
