I believe it's on the passenger-side bottom of the radiator. Basically a paint to get to. Might be easier to just take off the lower radiator hose to drain it.

It sticks horizontally out of the end tank towards the passenger side. The easiest way to get to it is to take your grill off. You can't get to it from just laying underneath it. Too much stuff in the way.

If you rip all the inner fender well crap out it makes it real easy to get to.

On my 2000 XJ, can't get to the radiator draincock by taking off the front grill either. There's 'stuff in the way" whether accessing from the grill side or underneath it. But at least I now know where it is. I think I'll be able to turn the draincock from underneath it and catch coolent just below. It'll be messy but doable I think.

My next problem is that I can't find a drain plug on the 4.0L engine block. Any help?

Haha, x2. Once I trimmed my fenders and ditched the fender liner, it was much easier to get to.
