I know there is only one way to put it on, but like an idiot, I didn't match them up to make sure the oil passages were the same, (and neither did the ASE Master mechanic who helped me!). I ordered it from Advance auto so 99%of the time they are correct, but now you have me wondering......
too late now, I am putting my beloved rig up for sale, I can't keep dumping money into it, rent needs to be paid first.

If there is an issue with my water pump, would it allow coolant and water mix? Like if there was a crack somewhere?

Plus, with the new water pump, It came without the tube that attaches to the heater. I can not get the old one out. Does anyone know where I can get one, and not guess where, but actually know where. I've checked out a ton of places and part stores around here.

If you have a lot of coolant in the oil, gotta be cracked head, cracked block or blown head gasket. Your statement about coolant running out from behind the dampner means its probably leaking out the front crank seal, which would indicate the oil pan is full of coolant

The tube would have to be gotten from a donor vehicle. They don't seem to be available, but check a Jeep parts counter maybe. This is something that wouldn't surprise me to be a "dealer only" part.

From the seriousness of the symptoms you state and the age of the engine, if you decide to keep it, I'd go with another engine. This one at this point sounds like it has reached "money pit" level and has a lot of potential to be unrepairable. Unfortunately, selling it with a basically undriveable engine would net you a much lower price than you would get if it ran and drove well. Still, I understand the rent thing quite well.
