Default Coolant leaks behind engine

I have a '96 Cherokee. She overheated. I added coolant as the first step in troubleshooting and the coolant leaked out between the engine and transmission.

I plan to fix whatever it is, but I'm in a cast and want to know what to look for without crawling under a dozen times.

Thanks

If I remember correctly there's a freeze plug in the rear of the head, and 2 in the rear of the block. I may be wrong though.

Yes there is one on the back of the head and 3 in the back of the block but one is just the back of your cam and doesnt have water running by it. While your in there and if it is your problem make sure to use brass plugs when you get new ones. They are only like 1 or 2 more bucks but dont rust.

yeah i was taking mine to the shop because of this issue and it died. Had to get it towed, now it is in their hands. I didnt make it all the way up a hill i tried to climb and i ended up sitting sideways at about a 60 degree angle. The coolant just started pouring out. Yall think this could cause the same problem?
