Default Coolant leak

So i pull into my parking spot at home and smell the "sweet" smell of burning coolant. After looking around it seems to be coming from a joint that leads to the transmission radiator.

Does this make sense? shouldn't the transmission be cooled with oil.

The radiator cools the transmission too. There are lines on your radiator that go to the passenger side on the transmission. Where roughly did you see a leak? By the radiator? By the transmission? What year is yours too?

Its possible that your thinking your A/C condenser is your tranny radiator? if that's the case and it is coolant your rad may be leaking somewhere. Factory most likely your rad is your tranny cooler. Lines go into rad on drivers side of the rad. I don't know if it would be normal for the condenser to leak any type of fluid.

Coolant could also be leaky from where the lines go into the heater. I have no experience if this is true or not but the hot coolant is what heats your Jeep. Could be that

There was a thread not too long ago pointing out that some XJs have a separate stock air-cooled transmission cooler which I didn't know. I guess this case could involve one of these, provided the "burning coolant" was actually trans fluid.

Otherwise the smell of burning coolant suggests the coolant leak was higher up on the engine and dripping down on some hot component before ending up at the bottom of the radiator.

There are definitely 2 "radiators". There is a big one with a rubber hose going in and one. then there is a smaller one in front of it that has two steel hoses, 1 from top and 1 from bottom, both on the passenger side. The leak is coming from the one coming out the bottom. First picture is where the leak is. up and left goes to the radiator down and right is a steel tube going toward the firewall.

There aren't two radiators. The radiator on the inside closest to the engine is your actual radiator. The one closest to the outside is for your A/C condenser

Well it ended up being a cracked radiator.
