Coolant Flush Help!
Well I want/need to do a coolant flush.. I found the drain plug (i think) on the passenger side of the radiator.. Confused on how I actually flush the system and not just drain the old stuff out and put new in.
I have read that there is some T fitting that you can connect your garden hose to that will also flush the heater core at the same time but you need to cut your hose?.. Also I read that there is some drain plug on the driver side of the engine that you can remove but most don't..? Idk there is a lot of advice out there and I'm a little confused.
Help Please!

You can get a coolant flush cleaner from prestone. IIRC you just drain it and refill with water, run it, drain it, refill with water, run it, drain it. After the second run of just water you seal it all up and fill with new coolant. If you use the coolant flush it has directions on the back. Something about running the heater on high while you are warming the engine up.

I'm all for do it yourself...For radiator flushes however for $100..Firestone auto centers flush and fill your system...no messy used coolant to deal with...well worth it
