Could be, Radiator is also the tranny cooler.. Did you put the coolant in or someone else. They may have used red coolant. Oil would look milky, I imagine Trans fluid the same.

These days I think all antifreeze/coolants are extended/long life regardless of their color. Every brand/color I saw on the parts store shelf says 5yr/150K mile extended life.
I just bought the cherokee last month, checked the coolant then and it was a clear red color. Changed the oil and since then it has been dark red? The only thing I added to the oil was Lucas Oil. The oil and tranny fluid do not seem to have a "milky" appearance on the dip stick and both smell normal.
I think I'm going to drain the radiator and throw some stop leak in and new coolant.
