So my heat in my 92 xj doesn't get hot very often usally just gets warm enough to not complain. The coolant is green(need to clean the puke bottle but no evedance of oil in coolant) replaced the plastic valve on heater hoses and flushed heater core. New mopar t stat, fresh coolant. Someone suggested I take out the plastic valve and run the heater hoses stright to the heater core and flush the system again. Thoughts?

I'm not fond of those plastic heater valves and they're totally unnnecessary. Perhaps another heater core flush is in order.
Is your Jeep running at 200* or so? If so, when it's up to that temp grasp the heater hoses where they go through the firewall and compare their temp to the upper radiator hose. Not as hot? Heater core flow is not good. Flush it again.

Ok ill do that. Heater hoses to core are hot can't really hold on to them and not squishy. Rad hoses are hot but kinda squishy. Is it possible to get the heater core hoses backwards?
