I've checked the threads and seen others with lots of problems with their power windows but found nothing on anyone converting from manual to power windows. I have a 92 XJ and I see a little empty panel cover right by the locks. I also heard that power windows were an option on this model so I'm assuming I can upgrade. Has anyone else ever done this and where did you buy the parts?

it is doable you would need all the internal door parts from a donor jeep
plus all the switches

First WELCOME to CF TooBig , now on to the question. You can probably go to a JYard and get all the parts you need. AFAIK the wiring harness could even be in the doors right now. You will need switches, regulators, motors, relays and if I forgot something I'm sure someone will chime in and help...Tj

welcome aboard from socal and junk yard hunting will get you most of what you need like what trekker said it should not be to hard as long as you get all the wiring at the same time don't cut it up take your time to get it all in one shot if you can

First off welcome aboard from PA now for your question alot of the xjs have the harness for the power accessories even if you dont have the particular acessory so i would look and see if your jeep has the harness already if it does that would make this project alot easier and as for the other parts the JY will be your friend and if not look for people parting out cherokees good luck

Like TJ said go to the JY. I would pull two doors that have the internals and just grab the whole door. Then swap the internals and make some half doors.
