Default Convert powers windows to manual.

I just bought a 2dr 4x4 Cherokee. Its gonna be a weekend trail truck, and I don't want finicky power windows.

Is there a way to convert them to manual?

your best bet would be to get new doors its much easier that way and you wont have holes or a switch that dont work on your door panel

never had an issue with my power windows. only when i banged up my doors to the point where the glass broke inside it, which would have also happened with manual windows

I will say that mine have stopes working a few times but it is the wiring in the door boots that is the issue once fixed they ate good to go and have not failed since. But if you do enough damage to the doors the window will break either way but good luck and I would just replace the doors as well that way you still have some nice power doors at home.

You'd have to also find manual window door panels.

Go to a junk yard and rip the cranks out of an old one, they will bolt up just fine. Fine some new/used door panels or cut a hole in yours for the time being and your set. I would also check the wiring diagram to make sure nothing else runs through those switches before you gut the pwr window electrical. Don't think anything does but always good to check.
