Control arms? Lift?

IMO I say no more than 2" The stamped sheet metal arms will not handle steep angles and big tires, or a combo of both. Plus the short arms will tend to want to roll under the jeep rather than work correctly in alot of off road/on road conditions. With suspention not set up correctly the way the vehicle handles becomes an issue also.

Stock uppers will work around 4" but don't be suprised if they bend after a small drop off or a large bump. Aftermarket lowers should be used at 3" and up.
either do a control arm drop or get different arms when lifting any more then 3 inches or your alignment will not be able to be set to the correct settings and you will eat tires faster then you should be
