Okay, I feel dumb!
I can't figure out where all the screws are to remove the console in my 01 XJ Sport! I got the two inside the arm reast and the one under the shifter plate but I can't find the rest.
Help!
Also how does the shifter handle come off (automatic)?

I am slowing repairing the rusty floor pans and upgrading my seat(s) so replacing the carpet is one of the things I am doing as well. I would appreciate any suggestions as to carpet makers.

The shifter handle does come off, just have to pull up hard. Try the screws under the 4wd selecter plate. As far as the others I think you have it. When trying to remove the center console, just try wiggling it and if there is a stiff spot, there will probably be a screw there. Hope this helps.
