BTW, this might still be a buyer IF it could be bought for near scrap value and you have the know-how and tools to repair it.
I'm not against saving good vehicles...but you can't pay mechanics to do the work. Salvage work, for me, is some sort of weird sacrifice that I enjoy...I like bringing stuff back from the brink of the junkyard. There is something satisfying about it.
That said, I do the work myself and don't care if a particular piece of junk is functional or not (I mean driveable). It can sit in the barn for a year and I don't care...but the thing has to have SOME redeeming value (like my rust-free XJ I got with the interior in boxes, leaking radiator, and bad fuel pump).
