What does he have that's going wrong? He said that at idle his oil pressure is at 40. It was a general question on if it were normal.

And my pressure stays about 40 at idle. People are saying it should be 10. Is that right or has my jeep just been messed up since I got it haha.

Sorry. Thought the OP said 100 PSI with factory and aftermarket gauge.

After fully warmed up hot idle sits at about 30 and cruising speeds it's exactly in the middle at 40.

Mine was sitting around 40 most of the time, but recently it goes up to around 50 when on the highway. Is there any reason for concern?

Completely normal. Oil pressure increases with engine load and RPM

dont forget to factor in engine temp and outside air temp will mess with oil psi slightly... in the winter at 2000 rpms my oil psi stays at 50, during the summer its at 43 psi.

100 psi of oil psi is way too high though. have you verified it with a mechanical gauge? if so you defnitly have an issue.
