Condensation in headlamp
Got a vehicle that has condesation build up in the headlamp assembly. Apparently a cover on the back side had come loose and been that way for months. The other day I noticed 1 1/2 inches of water standing in the unit. The only way to get it out was to drill a small hole in the back bottom area and let it drain out. I planned to plug it with some silicone, but it now has a lot of condensation inside.
What's the best way to dry this out without damaging anything?

Air circulation is more important than heat. I take it this is the type where the bulb twists in. just leaving the bulb out it will dry eventually. I suppose you could feed a tube in there? Tape one end near the fan or use a hair dryer. Get an 02 sensor, then screw a new jeep onto it. That would take care or it!

Now that you have drilled a hole in it, the condensation will eventually go away. Especially if you use the headlight.
But if you bury the headlight in deep water, it will probably fill up again.
