I am trying to find how you can tell what ecu you have when all the markings and numbers and stickers are all gone. I believe this is my problem but there are several different ones that fit my 1991 Cherokee 4.0 HO. I know some times it can be very suttle thing different about them, but have no way to start to identify mine

Are you talking about the PCM?

How did you determine it's at fault?
