So now $100 = "free" 2 day shipping? must be that new math...

My biggest problem is they are only open the same hours as I am at work and closed Sundays.
Know this to be true. When buying front end parts get the better line. NCP. The MRC line is good to but I think you are better off paying more. The NCP line is reported to of better quality then Moog. Moog once being the brand to buy. Not so much anymore. Also if your Napa is anything like mine they will stand behind their parts. Sometimes new parts are defective from the get go. Or packaged wrong. Sure it sucks having to do the job twice but how do you return a defective part to Amazon, Summit, RockAuto, etc. Sometimes for somethings it is not worth it.

I'm afraid you missed the point, if you pay an additional fee, it's still not free.
Even Amazons "free" regular shipping has the shipping charge already included in the sale price of the item(s).

Looking at the value adds you get along with the shipping is basically free. For just over $8 a month you get Netflix alternative 8$, apple music alternative $10, kindles subscription library, cloud photo storage $10 as well as discounts on many products. Not counting discounts or kindle, your getting $28 of product a month if never ship a single thing. I can live with calling the shipping Free.

I didn't pay anything additional so it is free shipping to me. For people who have to pay its still a good deal.

That's cool I fully understand but that is "value added" stuff we would never use. I guess my biggest problem is I hate giving money away...

Not to accidentally get the post back on track, but I would recommend a new tie rod from a v8 zj and new tie rod ends all the way around. Google is filled with writeups on this.

I just replaced my entire front end (track bar, drag link, 4 tie rod ends, steering stabilizer) for less than $200 using mostly moog parts. Definitely worth the upgrade, especially if your stock and ever plan on wheeling

I did everything on your list except the front coil springs, I regret installing stock leafs on the rear. Wish now I had gone with heavy duty, or a mild lift, Not impressed with the stock springs. They seem wimpy for a full load. Might install a set of Helwig helper springs for use with a hitch mount cargo carrier. The helper springs on the previous truck(87 B2200) worked well.

Since you are starting from scratch, get better springs. I wish I had made better decision there.

With that said, the original springs were shot. The ride is so much better with new springs/shocks/tires that I don't regret spending the money, just the selection of the replacement. Really happy with the firestone destination a/t's. Much better than when I bought it.

This seems more difficult than it should be. I have been researching this for months on and off. It's getting time do either do it or sell it. I'm sure someone would like a 2 door '99 with no rust from South Carolina to install a lift and big tires.

I think buying locally would be the best bet if it doesn't fit, sending leaf springs back to Amazon doesn't sound like fun.
