Default complete newbie question
the AW4 tranny in my 89 XJ drives forward fine, it goes into reverse but when it's in reverse the car putts FORWARD, what's up?

I'm gonna get hella crap for this...

Sounds like your shift linkage might be messed up if it goes forward while the shifter is in reverse. Could be kinked or something.
