does this button do anythin?
mines broken,does it need to be fixed and does it make a difference in the mud?

Pends on which way you are stuck lol. ON or Off? Not that big a difference. Might firm up your shifts.

comfort locks up at a lower speed and makes the shifts softer. Bad for the clutches.
The newer models without the switch are hard wired in "power"

its stuck on comfort but i was wonderin if the power way was better offroad or not or pullin a loaded trailer

Defiance is right. If you can, fix it and leave it on Power. Mpg difference is minimal if no zero (mine stays in power and I get 20 mpg highway). Shifts are a bit more firm, but they're consistant and easier on the clutches.

I dont know how you guys can drive around in comfort. I tried it for about 5 minutes and HATED it.
I dont even like they way they shift normally....

it just ups the shift points a couple hundred rpms and makes them firmer. TC locks up at 45 instead of 30-35.
