the column on our 98 Cherokee is a has a cable operated tilt. its broken in the down position is there anyway to get this back in the up position ill just leave the thing up if I can get it up. problem is I cant tell where the cable runs too looks like maybe it had a stop that pulled off the end of the cable

 

I just wanted to thank everyone who looked at my post . I figured it out the cable goes thru the housing and goes into a crimped Ferrell type connection and this pulls a short lever. I just took a screw driver and pulled the lever up and the column jumped to the upper position.
I think I would have to remove the whole steering column to reattach the cable and its just not worth it to me
