This vacum line is coming off a check valve which makes a T. on the rh side of the firewall. I assume your telling me that this is supposed to connect to the axel?

yes and then it should go to another tee one going to the in take manifold and the other to the bumper canister. do you have a vacuum disconnect on the front axle?
My check valve was right where the vacume line comes out of the intake manifold. I took out the valve and pluged the hose right back into the manifold. I'd send you a picture but my son has the Jeep tonight.

Yeah I did that with no luck... I believe it has a vacuum disconnect it goes in and out of 4x4 but sometimes i have to turn to get it out of 4x4 it's hard to get out of it sometimes so idk if that's part of the problem or not. And if this hose goes to the axle where on the Axel would I look?
