Default coil spring woes. PICS inside, please help.

so the story, I just bought the cherokee, was told that the po hit a ditch while wheeling causing the front rear to get knocked out of whack. He installed an adjustable track bar to center the rear back out side-side. I took measurements side-side, front-back, everywhere i could think of and everything came out equal, nice and even all around. the previous owner told me that the driver side spring pocket was bent but me and 2 other mechanics that checked it out couldn't see anything bent or out of whack. the spring just doesn't seem seated properly in the upper pocket, and it also is starting to arch(i'm guessing that means it's going bad?) and it's rubbing on the track bar bracket.
specs on the jeep:
1998 cherokee sport
4.0i6, auto trans, np231 transfer case,
180,000miles
3"rough country full suspension lift not aal.
Hopefully the pics work and someone here can help me figure this out.

everything looks good from what i can tell other than your sway bar link snapped off....when the axle wraps back like that the normal cure is adjustable lower controll arms........but being you said its only on the driver side is the upper/lower controll arm bent?

Use a spring compressor and re-seat the coil in the pocket. JMO

from what i can tell none of the arms are bent and I had a tape measure out and measured from the axel tubes on both sides to the frame and everything measured up even so i'm guessing nothing is bent. I didn't think i'd need adjustable arms with just a little 3"lift.

check the bottom of the spring also maybe its not seated correctly it should be sitting in the groove if you look at it you will understand what im talking about sometimes that will cause the spring to be out of wack

this is where a adjustable trackbar and control arms help out to recenter and get the axle back to its correct position

like i said the rear measured center, it has stock control arms and an adjustable track bar and when i measured everything up it came out perfect. it's all the exact same distance front 2 back and side 2 side.

Hopefully you'll get lucky and not have any damage. Just the out of whack coil.
Be careful when working around coil springs.

what they are saying with the LCA is that when you run stock lca's with a lift the axle will rotate from the differnece in height, just get some adjustable lca's and i bet that will fix the issue, they may be the same length but the just may not be long enough, i kno mine is a lil off as well as my track bar, because of my lift, ive only got two inches so its not too big of a worry with that little bit of height

In the pics of the Truck with the wheels on, the tire looks centered in the wheelwell to me. JMO
