Default Coil spring keeper issue

I noticed a really bad squeak and pop from my front coils recently, took me a while to figure out what it was,My new coils are the HDs from Rustys so the diameter of the spring is bigger than a stock spring and the small spring keeper at the bottom of the coil was getting in a bind between the coils,So I removed it and no more noise.I know its fine on the street, but what about off road with the sway bar disconnected? Will the coil squirt out if its at full droop?Any suggestions how to secure it?

your coil will fall out if there is room! put it back on. just bend the keeper to fit the larger diameter coil
