Coil Spacers and Shackles.
I have a 96 XJ with a 3" Rough Country lift previously installed. Ive heard that once you pass 4" of lift is when you have to start making changes to the drivetrain. Can i add 1" coil spacers in the front and 1" shackles in the rear and not have to worry about making any extensions or modifications?

I have the RC 4.5" lift right now and all I did was use their transfer case drop kit. Dont get me wrong, there is still some small vibrations but it works good enough for now. Once I complete gathering all my stuff for my conversion to 6.5" w/ long arms, I will pony up the SYE and driveshaft.

every jeep is different is what i have found out. i run 6.5" lift and only have changed lower control arms, and longer brake lines and shocks. everything else is stock and it runs with no vibes, no death wobble(ever), no bump steer, no drive shaft coming off of the yoke. its al perfect. i was running my 4.5" lift with stockcontrol arms with no issue either. but i slammed one into a rock bending the stamped steel so i bought new ones. i would say, install it and if your jeep doesnt like it you can either start upgrading or take it off. just remember to extend your brake lines. '95 YJ brake lines are 3" longer than the XJ brake lines are are a direct replacement
