Default Coil postition question

i have a 96 cherokee with 4.5" RE lift so it has 4.5" coils in the front. The coils look like they kinda bow out frontwards. what would cause this? my buddy's 93 is the same way. the coils bow forward?

This will help. http://go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoAlignment.htm. caster is refers to the angle of the steering knuckles.

Is your jeep lifted? yes. Professional alignments, set specs to STOCK, you are not stock, so it may not have been set correctly. Toe may be correct, but not caster. most shops wont even adjust caster on a XJ, even when stock. Check it yourself and fix it yourself.....

one of my RE coils bowed forward too.
i didn't worry about it, it doesn't effect the way it rides or wheels.
