Default Code P1391, CPS Question

Hey all,

I've installed a new CPS, and the jeep is running somewhat rough, will run fine for a few mins, but then the rpm's will dip, then return to normal. There is also a bucking/hesitation under acceleration but it is not constant. My guess is the new sensor is faulty.

I have another OEM Mopar sensor on the way, but my question is; will I do any damage to the engine by driving it with the Cel and faulty sensor? or can I drive it for the week while I wait for the OEM sensor to show up?

I would not consider driving it, but we have lots of snow in the forecast and a rwd bmw 325i doesn't mix well with snow.
Thanks in advance

Are you sure that it's not going to leave you some where ? It doesn't seem like it would be reliable the way it is running .

Good Point, I made what is probably the smart choice and will leave it parked till the OEM sensor shows up
