Hello guys, I have this code coming up on my Cherokee Sport 20001, Checked and replaced dead hoses, between the canister and the gas tank, replaced the gas cap, at the engine bay where the evap sensor is found a small round air filter like the ones lawn mowers use, replaced that filter also, the sensor I mention wile the engine is running I feel pulsation when I touch it, after did all this and reset the ECM it still after a few minutes turns the Check Engine light ON. Any help is appreciated,

Thanks for the link, before I check it out let me say today I replaced the canister reset the ecm I'll see how long 'till it light up the check engine light again.

 

I had that P0455 code 2 years ago on my 2001 jeep cherokee sport tried a few things, got frustrated & took it to a dealer. They told me they found a rotted metal evap hose above my gas tank by doing the smoke test. They cut out the rotted section & clamped a rubber hose there($115.00) Now, 2 years later I got the same code. All of a sudden my engine idled high & engine light popped on.
