Default code p0121

I popped code p0121 then replaced the tps after the check engine lights went out it started to idle around 12-1500 rpm but only on cold start up and after driving then putting in park. I scanned again and the same code pops but also has apps ckt range. I'm clueless as where to start so any help would be appreciated.

It is not impossible that you got a bad TPS out of the box.

I'd take it back and try another one. Be sure to clean the connector to the TPS thoroughly with a few sprays of electrical contact cleaner before reattaching. A bit of debris or moisture in the plug can cause gremlins.

And while you are in the area of the throttle body, cleaning of the idle air control and throttle body itself is never a bad idea as they get carboned up over time and miles.
