Default Code 54, CPS is good.

Went out for work no start. Checked codes got a 54 again. Replaced with new CPS, still no start. Looked through the Haynes, checked both CPS's, both check out fine. So now what? Checked for spark from coil, none. Switched coils, same situation. Have 12 volts to coil. The Jeep is at the shop, they got this far. He will look more into it tomorrow as well as me, so asking for your guys help as well.

Is the ground at the primary side of the coil pulsing? If not, you need a cam sensor.

It is also called the pick up coil. Yep, right under the distributor cap.
